We undertake an extensive mapping of the environmental and social risks as per national/international requirements prior to the acquisition of a project. These translate into a comprehensive Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) and Environment & Social Management System (ESMS) for implementation in post-acquisition phase.
ESMS covers among other aspects: compliance with local laws; resource efficiency and adherence to good international practices; occupational health and safety for employees and contract workers; equal opportunity and non-discrimination; addressing impacts on affected communities; and assessing and managing adverse environmental and social impact due to the intended project.
We conduct detailed diligence on the land acquisition process adopted for the acquired asset to understand the related risks.
We conduct an extensive assessment on pollution related impacts due to acquired assets and implement measures to mitigate the identified impacts. Key activities include providing vegetative noise barriers at sensitive locations and ensuring acoustic enclosures and adequate stack height at DG sets placed in Plaza. Maintained avenue and median plantation also curb dust and noise pollution along our roads Diligent regulatory compliances of applicable national acts and rules
We carry out assessment of sources of waste generation from project activities and ensure its proper disposal

Installation of state-of-the-art Rain Water Harvesting (“RWH”) structures at acquired assets along with renovation of community ponds.
Capacity of installed RWH structures (percolation Tanks) – 28 cum and 22 cum at JMTL toll plaza office (Rajadhok) and two structures of 22 cum each at WUPTL toll plaza office (Siwaya) in 2016 resulting in around 5000 cum ground water recharge annually.
Ensuring the health and safety of the people working for us is of prime importance to us.
Our key activities include forming safety committees, safety induction and training procedures, service provider safety evaluation, accident investigation and safe work procedures for various activities that expose employees and contract workers to hazardous conditions.
We implement many procedures to minimize community health and safety risks . These include cross-over median openings, crossings for pedestrian movement, appropriate speed limits, provision of speed control devices near crossings, appropriate signage, access controls, Transverse Bar Marking & Rumble Strips, roadside lay byes, rest areas, real time warning systems and awareness programs.
We provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to all employees, including contractors’ labor, organize medical camps and will also have a program to undertake periodic medical examination of workers. We ensure availability of doctors or para medical staff or access to emergency medical facilities and ambulances together with facilities for administering first aid.
We formulate asset specific emergency preparedness response plans to ensure safety of employees, workers, community & stakeholders due to any kind of emergency anticipated in the project boundary. Project staff is trained to understand actions in case of any such emergency

We are passionate about education, it’s an important thrust area for us. We take significant efforts to empower the youth in our communities by imparting job-ready skills, providing scholarships to underprivileged students and improving infrastructure in schools.
India lacks enough people with employable skills. To address this issue, we provide skill development training to underprivileged people to help them seek employment opportunities.

Many people in India still lack access to medical facilities, knowledge of basic hygiene and potable water. Our focus remains on improving the living conditions of underserved communities, ensuring that they have access to these basic facilities that can drastically improve their quality of life.
We organize medical camps at remote locations to provide access to basic medical facilities in local communities. Our key initiatives include:
Contaminated water is a pressing issue in our local communities.
We address this issue by providing safe drinking water facilities at multiple locations including in schools, toll plazas and road junctions.
Raining hopes
Tuberculosis remains the most serious health crisis in India. We reach out to communities to minimize this tragic loss of life and suffering.
We are committed to hygiene, and sanitation in rural areas because it plays a significant role in maintaining health.
We are providing financial support to strengthen the public health system in the rural areas, including upgradation of existing or construction of new infrastructure.
